  • Seat modifications?

I believe that I'm reading in the rulebook that Seat Tracks are unlimited, but I'm guessing that seat mounts must remain stock? I'm trying to figure out what my seat options are for the 240Z. I'd love to cut out the seat mounts and make new ones, but I doubt these are considered part of the tracks, is that a safe assumption? That I'm stuck with ...

  • Project240Z.com Buildup for SM2

I've been updating my www.Project240z.com website as I've started working on the cars again. This weekend with the help of a buddy I got the motor/transmission pulled from the parts car. Now I've just gotta get it the rest of the things i need off the parts car so I can get it out of the garage and bring the 240z home from storage. Check out the ...

  • Project 240Z work begins again!

I finally got to working on the SM2 project today. I didn't do much, but I got over a big hurdle. I got the 240Z moved out of the garage and moved the 280z 2+2 into the garage so I can start tearing the motor out of it. I also removed the hood and hinges from the 280, fit the hood onto the 240. That was another concern, if the hood would ...

  • SM2'ers, where are you?

The members of the SMAC met with the SEB for a very short discussion about the future of SM/SM2 based on this year's Nationals participation numbers. It's no mystery that the numbers are bordering on pathetic.  The question is.....why?  There were various reasons thrown out, but these are from people that are actually at ...
