I'm selling my 2003 Nissan 350Z. It's currently on Ebay. You can find it by following this link. Details, a 2003 350Z with just under 79k miles on it. I'm selling it in stock form, but have other items I'd consider selling to set it up for BS in Solo if there's interest. Contact me for more information!

It's been a long few weeks for me. It all started with the St. Louis region driver's school three weekends ago and culminated today with the Walnut Ridge ProSolo. The driver's school went well, the Walnut Ridge National Tour went even better.
The Walnut Ridge ProSolo though was far from good. The event itself was great, organized and run very ...

The first Cone Clinic was held today at the first day of the Walnut Ridge national tour. A great thanks goes out to the Hollis' for instructing all of the drivers today. We each got 12 runs, had a blast and a great time getting the rust out from almost 6 months off!
We start at 9am tomorrow. As last year, the town has welcomed everyone with open ...

I spent 20+ hours over the last 3 days upgrading the mapping system for SCCAForums.com. The map was getting awful cluttered once I imported all of the track data that we were provided.
You can now filter the map results based on program type (Solo, Club, Track and Other), as well as by class within each of those program types. Check out the map ...

I've gone and posted a version of the Autocross Handbook at http://sccaforums.com/programs/solo/solohandbook.aspx. I'll be editing/updating it over the coming months to get it a little more inline with today's SCCA Solo scene.

Just a quick update I made to the site this evening. Links inside forum posts now open in a new window! This has been a much requested feature, and the software update from last night allowed me to finally implement this.
-
We'll be updating the website tonight with the latest and greatest software. We're currently running on Beta 2 of the software, the final release shipped today so we'll be upgrading to that, which will allow us to make quite a few other improvements, such as opening links in the forum posts in a new window.

Some of you know me, many of you don't. Here's a quick summary about one of your friendly neighborhood admin's. For more information check out my personal site.
I've been active in the SCCA for 6 years now. I began autocrossing my 1994 Golf in 2000. From the Golf I quickly moved to a 1999 Camaro Z-28 and ran in F Stock for two years. After a ...

As I get started into Club Racing for the 2006 Season I figured tracking what all it takes to get started would be benificial to myself, and to others, so what better place to keep track of it than the SCCAForums.com blogs! I was digging through some of the SCCAForums.com server stats for this month (feb 06) and found the search phrase ''how to become a professional autocross driver'' generated two incoming sessions to SCCAForums.com.
That's an interesting question though, how do you become a professional autocross driver? Anyone, thoughts?

We've updated some of the front pages of the website to now include a left hand navigation menu. This should allow you to find content on SCCAForums easier, and allow us to add content without having to add it to the Navigation that runs horizontally across the top of the site.

Now that I've finally finished off the 2005 Pick The Winners contest I'll be getting back to the Mapping system here in the next couple of days. The first thing I'm going to implement is the import process of all of the track locations that Josh Sirota was kind enough to provide. After that we'll be implementing a few new features, including class ...

I had SBC (at&t) up until last night, but luckily I got those dirty rats to drop me from my 1yr commitment so I can get off their DSL lines. Since moving in in November we've had nothing but problems. Charter is coming out to run the cable lines to the house on Thursday and after that we'll be back up and running on Pipeline. I even got 6 ...

Alright, it's been another busy weekend, welcome to my life. It's Sunday, 10pm, what do most people do at this time? Sleep? Bah, sleep is for the weak! I'm up working on SCCAForums.com for the next few hours!
-
Due to an unfortunate thing called work I was unable to get the Race Track data imported tonight. Though I did get started on the C# class to do so. More later this week, perhaps on Thursday if all goes well at work.

We are proud to announce our latest feature here on SCCAForums.com. Our recently launched Mapping System uses Google Maps functionality to allow SCCAForums.com Registerd users to plot points on our map, allowing users to see who is located near them, or in other parts of the country. Is anyone else getting excited about the 2006 Autocross Season?
I know I'm pumped! Though I have to wait two more months before my first scheduled event, which happens to be the Walnut Ridge National Tour. I think I'll need to hit an event somewhere in the Midwest to get the autocross rust out. Though the week before WR I'll be at the club ...

The Project Z rolled over 64 thousand miles today.
On April 18th I'll have had it 3 years.

I'm posting this from SCCAForums.com, yet it's being posted on solo2.org as well!

Stay tuned as we get some of the new software kinks out of the way and turn on blog creation for all users!

Just double checking that the blog posting is working on the new software.

So, since I'm about to hit the road tomorrow, I'll drop one more hint on what the secret weapon is that Andy and I installed last week.
There are 4 of them, and they are white. That should ease in finding them when you look at the car ;)
See you all in Topeka!
