Looks like Mark McNight took the 2nd spot with Jack Burns following. Karter Bollman from TX was on top with a heroic last run.
Nice going Mark with an underprepped Mazda 3. Looks like the MINI's are taking some lumps...

Yeehaw! Mike Johnson captured ASP ahead of Cox and Gunn-Wilkinson in the Porsche GT2 and GT3's!!! Rod McGeorge from the WDCR finished 4th!!!
And a big congrats to Bob Tunnell for taking SM!

jmp33:Wow, close race in BS. Carter was only .100 off first place. Also, in a quick scan of the Top 10 in BS, Carter had the fastest time on the East Course today.

Crosser1:I spoke with Eric on the phone yesterday, he was having trouble with his car. In the fastest section of the course he was trying to go to third and the car would not do it. It was only grinding and he would have to go back to 2nd. He probably would have been a lot higher in the standings if the trans was not giving ...

Salina, KS, Nationals 1989: My first Nationals as well. Left Tennessee in sunny, 89 degree weather, suitcase full of T-shirts and shorts, maybe 1 pair of jeans. Arrive in Salina, it's freakin' SNOWING!!! OK, where's the walmart??? Gonna spend half my food budget on winter clothes!!!

Paddock parking isn't exactly well-planned. Confrontation was someone's way of welcoming me to HPT. We'll see if anyone gets to keep their "reservations" :-|

Something that I don't want anyone to be surprised by is Supplemental Rule A.2 which says: "Access to Heartland Park Topeka (HPT) begins Thursday,
September 21 at 10:00 a.m. through Friday,
September 29 at 7:00 p.m., 24 hour
access..."
This means we have to be Packed up and out of the Paddock area (outside the gate) by ...
