I'm not a veteran, but it seems to me that there should be NO practice before Nationals Solo, for anyone.

The date really won't matter. The weather is hit or miss in the midwest even in November. Heck I'm about 2 hours north of Topeka and we hit 82 degrees yesterday which was a record for this late in the year. It's been great all week.
