The shots are not the best (just got the camera a week ago, still learning all the specifics) however they are better than nothing I imagine.

The cloudy day threw me off a bit, as this was the first time I've used the camera to take any action shots such as these. (I've only had it for a week) The somewhat narrow aperture of my kit lens at the limited max zoom it offers caused a bit of complication for me. A high ISO setting and having to crop the photos to enlarge the subject are not a good combination. Hopefully when the next event comes around I will be I will be more familiar with the camera and better prepared with a more suitable lens for the occasion.

Heres some I took, some I played with a little bit, some I didnt. This was also my first attempt at taking some pictures with the new camera (Sony a350) Shot most of these on the "P" setting at 100 ISO with the kit lens that came with the camera.

EDIT: I know the focus on some of these arent exactly perfect, but cut a guy a little slack, lol.

Couple more pics of the Viper... Sorry to seem one sided guys, but I wound up leaving early, and this was one of the most photgenic cars I've ever taken photos of.

Also, if you want to do some cool car photography, I'm down.  I've got that suction cup tripod thing and quite a bit of photo equipment...

No shots of the Mini I"m afraid. I ended up having to work the course on Sunday and I do not believe you were there on Saturday when I took all of my shots. In regards to car photography, I'd be interested as well if you live anywhere near here. I'm about 2.5 hours away from Columbus in Clinton, MS.
