Re: Trans Am/ GT1 car for sale

The link doesn't work as that website is down - so here is the info.

Selling my GT1/Trans Am car.  As of right now, the fresh motor is at the machine shop being assembled and should be back this week or next for installation. Once it is dyno tuned, it will be available for delivery.

Asking $35000 with all the spares and tires.  You just need to pay your entry fees and fuel bill and you're good on tires and brake pads for almost two seasons if not more.  Obviously will consider offers or selling the car without spares, but to be honest you would be crazy not to take it all.

Again, tt will have a fresh motor, a just gone through trans as well as a spare trans. We have a ton of spare parts as well.  Will consider trades for fun street/muscle cars or sports cars. Expecially a late 60's Camaro, a C2, C3,C5 or C6 Corvette, Mustangs, Vipers etc...

Here is some info on the car, obviously I will update the thread once we dyno tune it and give track result updates.

2000 Camaro Gt-1 based on Trotnow "Speedway" style chassis (original Max Lagod GT1 third gen car from early 90's) ran Trans Am for many years, 2 Natl wins in 08, runoffs finishes in 2007-13th, 2008-12th. 23 degree 358: Bowtie, Brodix, Callies, Crower etc, Saenz 910 5 speed, quick change, remote Fox/Penske shocks, big CNC/Wilwood brakes, carbon fiber 4th gen body, radials, coolers and pumps for rear dif and trans, fire system, etc. Plenty of spares: hood, complete Saenz910 w/ addl new spare dogs and bearings, 7.25 clutch and discs, 8 spare wheels and tires including new rains + 6 fresh sets of Hoosiers, W5 hubs, new rotors, new PF pads, 8 QC gearsets, driveshafts, suspension, Comes with radios, transponder etc.

The car has had some further development since it's 12 place finish in the Runoffs last year. This is a really good car at a great price.

Re: Trans Am/ GT1 car for sale

Bump - $32k obo!  This is a great way to race in 2010... good class sizes, competition at all levels of driving and car prep...and driving something like this is just amazing.  You can run in the Trans Am series, GT1, NASA or Vintage - you can always find an event to run, which is what attacted me to the class.  The speed and power is overwhelming..

Email me for photo's, but I will try to post them up here.

Re: Trans Am/ GT1 car for sale

Bump for a low price - this is a lot of car, with a lot of spares... This has to be the best deal in racing right now... We are at top running Spec Miata prices that will lap Road America some 25+ seconds quicker!  Run some Trans Am, SCCA Nationals, vintage, track days... For this kind of money you're not going to find a better prepared car, with this type of history, this kind of power and certainly nothing more fun.
