sknlim:on my 89 Civic Si that i just picked up and notice the one's that came on the car are 1/2" larger then the 9.5" Power Slot's that I wanted to install. Any ideas/tips on what I will need to fit the 9.5" rotors.
One of the Civics that I bought came the same way. 90-91 rotors are bigger than 88-89 and that is what was on there. I just put the correct ones on and it was all good.

I tried what you suggested and the hub is also bigger. The 9.5" rotors will not fit. Here's a picture of the setup.
Possibly swapped EX sedan knuckle/brakes?

Yea, that is what it looks like to me with those brake calipers!!!
Thats not bad news you can sell those and get the correct ones..

Went to the local Pick N Pull and i think they are from the older Integras.
What will i need to swap these out? I already have new pads, rotors, brake lines.
Are all 88-91 Civic front knuckle and calipers the same?
While you're in there, get some new axle nuts. No telling how many times those have been re-used.
Both axle are shot and will be replaced.

I just took the rotors off of my 90 Si and ran into the same thing. I had 90 Integra front calipers and 95 EX rear trailing arms with disks on the rear. Apparently these are the most popular "junkyard" items that fit the EF civics. Since I'm running STX this year it isn't a big deal but since I am in the process of STX to ST I ran into this and decided to research what I had. I haven't put the stock parts on from another donor car yet to know if the calipers will fit or if I will need to swap the spindles too, they LOOK like they will be ok, but I will see once I get to the point of buttoning everything back together.

The DA Integra calipers typically require the DA Integra spindles, which is not allowed in STX. Nor is the swap of the rear trailing arm legal. So you need to fix it anyway. And while you are picking up parts, you'll need the right e-brake cables for the drums since the disc uses a different length.
Lots of good info in the H-T EF Civic/CRX FAQ.
I'm going to pick up the knuckle assembly and caliper and just be done with it. Maybe i can find someone local to swap mine for theirs..

Good Point Andy. I found out the spindles on the donor car have new ball joints anyways so I will swap the spindles just to be safe and have new ball joints (plus everything is torn apart now, there won't be an easier time to swap everything). The ebrake cable will have to be checked once I get the other parts up and on the car, hopefully it will work. Probably wont. For just changing the transmission and swapping brakes I sure feel like I have taken off a ton more parts that I thought I was going to. And there is the "well since I have it apart" part replacement thing too... But it will be ST legal and I will freaking know what parts to buy, I had to guess twice when I bought new brake pads since I thought it was simply CRX parts for the brakes...
