Any way i could be out of there by 3:30? I could do some task before/during the event. (wavers, worker cheif). I would like to come but i must be out of there by then. If thats not possible, thats fine. Just thought it was worth trying.

    Re: Solo Event 4 Information

I just glanced at the entry list on myautoevents.com and it reads to me like the same car is listed w/4 drivers in SMT. (Drivers' last name = Fehring). How will this work? Have special arrangements been made to run the car twice as a 2 driver car in 2 different heats? Personally, I have no problem with that, but it's not my call. I just figure it'd be nice to have a plan now, rather than wait till Sat A.M.  Who knows? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding the entry listings...

    Re: Solo Event 4 Information

I know Mr. Fehring and his plans will likely be changing and their will be only 2 drivers or they will co-drive with others.  I may be one of those providing a co-drive.  Mr. Fehring has 3 kids that are getting started in SCCA, so I believe he signed everyone up at once.

But it does bring up a question, how many drivers can run 1 car?

    Re: Solo Event 4 Information

2 drivers per class...he could enter it in a different class for the other 2 drivers as long as they run seperate heats.  (Like F/Stock and E/SP, or SMS, and SM, or something like that).

    Re: Solo Event 4 Information

Ron is correct.  We actually had a bit of an issue with this at the Coliseum event.  I only know about it because I helped with grid on first heat, where we had three people sharing a car in the same class.  The event/heat was big enough that we could accommodate it by having the car run at the begining and end of the "two driver" runs.  This would not work in a smaller event (not enough time between runs for the "5 minute rule").  This is something that should have been caught and rectified prior to the heat (preferably at registration) and I am not sure that the situation was ever pointed out to the people who worked registration.  So, if you are going to be working registration, this is a heads up.
