Western Ohio does not put on bad events, the big problem is they only have one place to run at and it is not the greatest. They are running on the Kil-Kare oval track / figure eight track and while it is generally fairly clean and has good grip it is not necessarily the funnest lot to run on, especially when they are running on the oval part of the track and you have a concrete wall on the outside.
Cincy doesn't necessarily have some of the best lots in the area, a little dirty like the Kruse lot in Fort Wayne, but they are generally well thought out courses with fast and slow sections. Besides, if you have never seen former National Champion Danny Popp run you are in for a treat.
Western Ohio is not bad and I usually will do several events with them each year, I just have the wall at the track in the back of my mind all the time. Cincy puts on very good, well organized events and fun courses and is well worth taking the time to go run with them.
