    It looks like there are no local SCCA events for Fathers' Day weekend. Anyone want to cheer on local talent James Elterman at the Redline Time Attack at Autobahn C.C.? Short drive up to Joliet IL on Friday night. Participate in the HPDE on Saturday. Watch James compete on Sunday. Sounds like a perfect weekend.

    Thanks Jeff.  I've been meaning to post something up, but I have been very busy getting our home on the market, and now refocusing my energy on my first 2009 race.  Hope to see some familiar faces there.  The hotels in Joliet still have room, and otherwise camping is allowed at the track.  For those that have participated in an STL SCCA PDX, don't expect the same level of instruction in the HPDE at the Redline event, but don't let that turn you off.  The course is great and there will be a wide range of experience levels there so you can participate in the group that is fun and safe for you.  And by all means consider participating in the Time Attack format on Sunday.  Let me know if you have any questions about participating.

    The next event is July 25-26 at Nashville Super Speedway.  It is a short 6 hour drive from St. Louis.  You can see all the action and be home before midnight.  This is the only other event on the calendar that is reasonably close to St. Louis.  The remaining events are long hauls.

    It was a great event and the Autobahn facility was impressive.
