I FINALLY got back in the seat after over a year of being
gone due to money troubles. and this time, I was behind the wheel of a
125cc shifter. 0.0
these karts are beyond anything I could have comprehended. they are
just so mind warpingly fast, that I literally couldn't think when I
stepped out of it for the first time. they are beyond fun, and I'm
definately looking forward to my next race. I took a few photos last
saturday. some came out neat, some didn't. as far as how I did, I was
able to jump in these karts and get on pace right away, but I didn't have the physical stamina to do it
consistently like the good guys did. I'll just have to keep driving to be able
to get strong enough to win. in quali, I managed to get a time down to
secure 3rd, and I ended up finishing 2nd in the heat race. in the
feature, I had some clutch problems off the line and was forced to
retire. I was ok with having to take a DNF, anyway...my body was
trashed. these karts are just so far beyond anything I have ever driven
before. it even made those formula cars look like a joke. I'm just
really excited I decided to go with a shifter kart!
