The car is capable of (and has run) a 1:52 at TWS (2.9 CCW), a 1:32 at Road Atlanta, a 1:42 at CMP, 2:05 at VIR, 1:15 at Roebling, and 2:19s at Sebring. It’s safe, fast and reliable. This car will meet your needs if you’re thinking about T1 or just a great HPDE or NASA ST2 car.
Chris Ingle special ordered it new, then slowly modified over the years into one of the best T1 cars in the country. In 2000, Chris went to Bowling Green, watched it being built (frame to finish), and was the first to start it. It’s been Chris’ baby from new through the 2007 Runoffs.
I bought the car in late 2007 with some rear body damage, repaired it and raced it five times in the Southwest Division.
This is NOT A SHOW CAR; it is a used race car that has the usual cracks and scratches that would normally be collected over years of racing. Some non-race items do not work; one headlight does not pop up, power windows will not go up, etc. It appears to have been well maintained and is still fast and reliable.
The car has a current and clean log book, a complete history, photos, original sticker, build sheet, etc.
The car is not shifting properly at speed and may need a new clutch, new parts are included. I have acquired a GT-1 Camaro in a trade and plan to race it in 2009. I invite serious inquiries, and will consider street trades, but no project cars; I have plenty of those already.
