PAX/RTP Index Results from the 2008 Nationals

Attached is a PDF of the complete Index Results from this year's Tire Rack National Championship event.  Lots of thread-the-needle and lots of pylons!!

    H's & K's,
    Rick Ruth

I have placed a revised PDF at 12:48 CST.  Apparently, not all Total Times were originally computed correctly.  It seems that my script did not always grab the best time.  So, the East Course and West Course columns are somewhat suspect, but I think it's close.

Again, I have attached a revised PDF at 5:50am CST 09/24/08.  Thanks to Jack Tsou for taking the time to alter his script.  Hopefully, all of the best times from each course are now correct.

Thanks for posting these Rick, is there anyway to get a break down per side (East and West)?

Shows me as #823 which I thought was strange, looks like it pulled my west course time incorrectly.

CS with 3 in the top-10 PAX, top 3 CS out-scratch BS, CS winner outscratches AS, and everybody ran in the dry?  Lookout CS PAX in '09   Wink

Re: PAX/RTP Index Results from the 2008 Nationals

As mentioned, now, in the opening post....I have attached a new file.  Apparently, my script did not always grab the best time from each course (those may be suspect, to damn many pylons), however, the total time is now being taken from the last column of the results, instead of being added (best East & West).

    Sorry, with H's & K's,
    Rick Ruth

The East course was changed after AS and BS ran it and should be a bit faster when CS ran it. Not sure if it would amount to that much difference though.

The East course was changed after AS but before BS.

Ooops, you're correct. I forgot that BS ran west course first!

Looks like a whole lot of horsepower ruled the pax on these courses to me. Sucky speed maintenance courses without the straights are more fun.

Yea, other than maybe the SM2 cars, I see mostly small, narrow cars at the top of that list.  Some have power, some don't.

We have right around 166 ponies but are quite a bit "narrower" and a lot more agile then the average lets say Corvette.

PLUS we have a driver that some say could win in a shopping cart.

Sounds like the Miatas will do well in BS!

How do we start a lobby to move the MS-R to AS says the CS Solstice driver? Crying
