Does any body have an SSB rental at a reasonable price for the Double National at Pocono August 15-16? Robbie's new job will keep him from going to the Runoffs this year and I'm trying to get enough races to qualify in SSB, to take the MINI.

Try Steve Fondakowski. He has a Celica and it was fast there last year. I think he was trying to sell it but may cut a deal with you for rental.

I must have hit my head with Steve being such a supporter of mine....

Sorry to hear about Robbie missing the runoff's. He was really doing well with that car.

The car is for sale and going up on ebay shortly for a last ditch effort to sell. I offered the car to Jack for the Sprints and would also do so here but the only other event I had planned to run the car myself was Pocono. For the price I am asking, it is not that much more than what a rental for the weekend would be.

Mike, I don't have any problem with you despite your personal attacks against me. I just disagree with you wrt car classifications, parity, and the SCCA politics. But that is the beauty of forums, a place for all of us to give our opinion.

Kick Robbie into the SSC Civic and run the Mini @ RR, I didn't check but you might have already done that. LOL

I must have missed something here; why is Robbie missing the runoffs? I had money on the kid!...JM

He landed a job with Octagon Marketing and is traveling the country doing the Sprint/Nextel NASCAR fan experience. I'm hoping he might get a chance to switch weeks with another team, but right now, they're scheduled to be working the week and weekend of the Runoffs.The first full-time job out of college has to take priority over Club Racing! I'm going to try and get the car there, if only I had those 23 year old reflexes and no fear! (I have to pay the bills, that's a large part of it).

Brad have you contacted Joe Aquilante? I'm sure they would have something in the fleet for you. Or maybe Fred P. or Jim McCarthy could help you out. Anyway hope to see you up here in August!!
