Mazda 3 and getting started in SSC

Hi all, I would like to get some advice on getting into SSC and opinions on the Mazda 3 as my car. I am in the NE area and would like to do solo and regionals. Also does anyone have experience with driving their car to and from the track? My car will be used only to race with but I can't afford a Tow vehicle and trailer at this time.

    Thanks

If you need help up in your area, perhaps Joel can give you some pointers, Joel? Please feel free to give me a call if I can help you get the car on track. I'm almost always around the phone, but leave me a vm if I'm not and I'll be happy to call ya back   830-237-2273.....Joe

Thanks, I may give you a call. I am still shopping for the car and wanted to know what models of the Mazda 3 are legal for ssc. I will be at the New Jeresy Motorsports park race on July 19-20 and if Joel is going to be thier I love to talk with him about NE SSC

    Thanks
