Tires are sold
I picked up some newer HPDE rubber for the e30 and will be getting the tires mounted this week. The takeoffs will be some old Kumho v700 victoracers in 225/50/14. I picked these up used two years ago with a set of wheels and used them for one autox (DSP) and one track day last year. Though they still stick I expect they were heat cycled out a long time ago and I know the PO had stored them in a shed outside during the Wisconsin winter. Of the four tires two have been flipped already, and one is newer (had been the spare). None are corded. These will not be competitive by any stretch of the imagination but if someone is looking for a cheap set of r-comps to burn up they could be useful.
I'm thinking $90 for the set (to cover my costs of a Big Bear mount and balance for the new rubber). Local sale only (located in New Berlin just outside of Milwaukee). Any interest?
