    So did Mr. Godula

Gary Godula finished in 3:22:36.  Once again, mod category on top.Smile   Oh wait, is there a pax for age?

Gary was 4,796th overall, 4,224 in gender, and 1,465 in division.  He ran the second half 10 minutes faster than the first half.  What hill?!

Wow, that's great on both of them.  I doubt I could run for an entire mile.  :(

Thanks, Steve.  It was quite the experience.  This is a HUGE freaking deal up there, with people lining the course 10 feet thick screaming their guts out for many miles.  And the 3:23 was a personal best for me, despite being on the hardest marathon course I've ever run.  Still, I'm pretty tired of the hard-core training grind (7 months straight, including the Houston marathon in January), and looking forward to some quality autocross time all summer instead.

Actually, there is an age-graded "PAX" for running.  Lookie here: Age-graded calculator

Based on that, I beat Gary by 7 minutes.  Big Smile

And I was running on "Street Tires"!!  Cool

No kidding?  I had no idea.  Damn!  That woulda given me some place to hang out before the race instead of sitting outside in the cold for two freakin' hours.  Surprise

We'll be talkin' before next year's race, though....   Yes

Not only that, but you could have run an event at Devens (Miata Club this weekend?).  A couple of course walks there almost equals a marathon.  (Okay, not really, but on a Sunday morning it certainly feels like it)

Damnit!  One more thing that Andy Hollis does better than I do!  Gary Godula, too!

Great job, Andy!  Great job, Gary!
