Base access forms are due by NOON on Sunday, April 20. How to complete your form:

1. Get it here.
2. Fill it out with information for yourself and all of your vehicles/guests that may want to access the base.
3. Check the form for any errors.
   
4. Re-check the form for accuracy.
5. Look over the form one last time to ensure there are no mistakes.
6. Email your completed form to msscca@gmail.com.

Won't be able to make it either, should be returning from FSAE VIR those days.

Any volunteers for course design/setup (it ends up being the same thing)? If you've autocrossed more than once and read Roger Johnson's presentation on course design at least twice, you're qualified. It's harder than it looks. I suck at it. So does Brian. He accidentally designed a great course one time, but he's been known to have a little "optional slalom" problem, if you know what I mean.

Let Skip do it and you'll end up with nine cones 150 yards apart. That lets you choose your line.

I have no idea how to drive Auto X courses much less try to make one, but I am definately willing to help set up the course that morning. Let me know what to do if you need me.

Just a reminder to get those base access forms in. I haven't processed any yet (so no confirmation emails have been sent), but keep them coming! They are due by NOON on Sunday April 20!

Yea, i just moved in about 2 weeks ago, looking to leave the region whore behind for about a year at CAFB.  I'm from KY, just moved her from FL.

Guys, PLEASE READ THE SUPPS. 

They are the rules CAFB places on our use of the site.

We've been doing pretty good at the actual site but there are a couple of things I've noticed that we need to improve on.

1. Use the south gate.

2. Don't use a cell phone while driving on base unless you have a hands free unit.

3. The speed limit posted on Independence Drive is 35mph. Some of our folks are exceeding this limit considerably.

Let's not put our base security friends in the position of having to exercise their authority.

Have the confirmation emails been sent yet?

Skip, I believe the speed limit is 30 mph on base.

Well, whatever the posted speed is - PAY ATTENTION TO IT!!!!!!

Let's don't jeopardize our access by being stupid.

I am SF at the base.  As long as you do not speed or use cell phone while driving and stay buckled up, you will be fine.  Yes use the back gate.  I'll be out there Sat and Sunday.  See you there.

Hate to say that I won't be making it this weekend. Apparently my email for base access didn't go through, so I'm screwed. Hope everyone has a fun weekend
