I relocated the battery from the engine bay to the passenger compartment. Can I run a passenger mounted batter if it's an Optima red top battery if it's securely mounted? Thanks.
You need to start by finding out what class your in. SP and ST rules do not allow it in the passenger compartment, but higher prep classes like Prepared and Mod may. "Eveything from powertrain to tires" covers a lot of ground, and you need to review all your mods and see what puts you into what class. You've read the rules but still don't know? Sounds like your maybe building first then reading the rules after. That's cool...you just may run into some surprises though. Just figure out what your having trouble with and ask here...we can help you figure it out. :)
