2004 Mazda RX-8 Touring, 53,000 miles on the clock, 6-speed.
It's not the stripper base model so it has goodies handy off the track: HID headlights, foglights, Bose, moonroof, HomeLink autodimming mirror, stability control (DSC), and traction control. However, it's not the Grand Touring model either so isn't weighed down with the power seats or aesthetically weighed down by horrible interior color combinations.
I'm selling it because I'm not going to have any time to autocross in the next few years as a medical resident (surgery next year then diagnostic radiology the four after that). I'm also getting married so am trying to pare down my life where I can. I'm the second owner, and the car has never been smoked in.
Clean title, title in hand (no liens), no accidents. All recalls and TSBs done, all maintenance while I owned it done at the local dealer, University Mazda (Seattle). No CELs, drives and looks great. Tires have less than 5,000 miles on them. Mechanically and cosmetically completely stock. The only modifications have been to add an auxiliary input (for iPods) to the Bose stereo, and integrated wiring for a radar detector in the overhead console.
I autocrossed this car locally in B Stock and it held its own. That's me in Sports B here, for instance: 2008 BSCC Event #1 (Complete, Not Audited)
