Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
I want to know that too. My Evo was paired up against some green open cockpit Sprite on Sunday -- I wanna know if he was keeping up with me to 60 feet.

Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
fd_racer:Is there anyway to get the El Toro 60 foot and Reaction times?
Darrin?
Thanks, Jeff Kiesel
Ask and you shall receive. Of course these are unofficial. Some of the RT/60ft are incorrectly assigned to a run since some run times were edited during audit. But for the most part the RT/60Ft are correct.

Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
Thanks Darrin!
Interesting - did the 60ft lights move at all compared to the practice starts? I only ask because the competition runs for Katie and I are mostly 2.5/2.6, while on Friday all were in the 2.4 range. Certainly it could be the heat of competition, more wheelspin, etc.

Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
Thanks Darrin, you da man !
BTW----Hector treated me to a Mickey D's Cheeseburger with your dollar. He said, "Lets have Darrin buy lunch." We both agreed---best damn cheeseburgers we ever ate.
PS---Hector wants to make the same bet next year, but you have to drive DC's car.

Thanks Darrin!!! You are the man!!!!
I thought I my car was launching poorly... Sunday 2.3 - 2.6 60 foot times (I normally get 1.9 - 2.0)..... I guess next time I will pay better attention on where I line up.

Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
Hey Jeff---
I don't know you. You seem like a cool dude. But do those things in your ears hurt ?
Hector said you were the only California course worker actually running to pick up cones, while most of the other CA boys and girls must have still been digesting breakfast.
The folks in California must like reruns-----or maybe there was some payola.

Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
Hey David,
No they did not hurt....
Yeah I know I get pissed off somtimes at events because we have reruns from slow course workers taking their time to fix cones.
I figure if I run for the cones it will keep me in shape and I can keep my girlish figure looking good
Stop by at the next event and have a beer (Wendover?)

Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
Wendover ? Yeah, I've to Wendover before, but still driving home right now (Hector is driving us right through a frickin Hurricane), 46 hour drive home. How about you stop by an Atlanta event, only 12 hour drive for me.
Actually called my wife the other day, and she told me "I'm in the middle of building a dog house,(I thought wtf we don't have a dog, did she buy a dog while I have been gone ? ), to put you in it !"

That's what they say, she must be a saint to put up with me.
60 miles from home but I have to drop off Hector's a$$ before I can go home, but no worries as he did 80 % of the drive back.

Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
Thanks Darrin! So based on the relative consistency of my 60ft times, I'm guessing the 60ft timer starts when one leaves the staging lights rather than when the green light comes on. My RTs weren't too swift. :) Although I now see I have a special talent at the tree - redlighting a .550.

As I said when I posted this: "Of course these are unofficial. Some of the RT/60ft are incorrectly assigned to a run since some run times were edited during audit." So if anyone has a RL on a >500 Light or has a good run on a <.500 light, the RT is not correct for that run. There is no way to edit the RT/60 Ft times for a run, so if a run was assigned to the wrong car and then corrected in audit, the RT/60 ft time will still be wrong. Darrin

Re: El Toro 60 foot and R/T
The 60 ft times were notably high in general for most cars, I'd say 2 - 3 tenths
