Pan Am Club Racer Richard Dziak, in his 2007 F1K-07 Formula F1000, secured his first Regional Series Championship. Richard who is a dual member of both the Pan Am Region and is a new member of the Arizona Region. He won both races this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway. With the wins, he successfully captured his first Regional Championship. The Arizona Regional Saguaro Championship Series begin in September 2007 and runs thru May 4th, 2008. During this time he captured 6 wins and 1 second place finish. With the Arizona 2007-2008 season coming to an end, he will now focus on the Rocky Mountain Division Regional Championship which runs from May 2008 to Oct 2008. He is planning to represent the Pan Am Region and debut the Phoenix F1000 in La Junta, Colo on May 3rd & 4th, and then race his Phoenix F1000 in Rio Grande SCCA Regional event June 8th & 9th in Albuquerque, NM. He plans 6 races in the RMD this season.
The Pan Am club racing program remains very strong, and John Basler will start to secure his SCCA Regional License by attending the RMD driving school in La Junta Colo on May 3rd & 4th and entering his first regional events. He will then compete in the June event in Albuquerque, NM with the Rio Grande Region to obtain his first Club Racing Regional Competition License. We wish John the best. The Pan Am Club racing program is comprised of club racers, Jose Gerardo, Hector Maldonado, Stan Czacki, Ben Dewitt, Richard Dziak, Mark Kowalski, Steve Schoeppener, Tim Schoeppner, Jaime Dryden, and Jeff Kelly. Soon we will add the name of John Basler, and we all wish him well.
