Please explain the April FastTrack SP recommendation on 15.10.J

    http://www.scca.com/documents/Fastrack/08-fastrack-apr-solo.pdf

I understand the listing changes for the Escorts and the addition of the Street Touring language for camber correction.  I'm not sure about the part on engine mounts and bobble struts.  The part that's printed in the FastTrack looks like the same as what's in the rules but with some sentences left out.  Did they just print the sentences that change and I missed the changes or is the recommendation to leave out the part of those two paragraphs that's not in the FastTrack, and what's the reason for the change?  Thanks!

What is printed is how the rule would work. Anything omitted would no longer matter. Looks like this allows solid motor mounts to me.

I emailed my SPAC rep for clarification and he said that removal of the language was intended and that, if this is approved, you'll be able to run solid motor mounts if you like.  I like my teeth so I'll stick with rubber mounts regardless of which way it goes.  For the record, I sent an email in favor of the listing changes and the camber correction rules but against the motor mount rule.

Which is effectively the case now, since Delrin is legal and provides almost the same level of "solidity" as metal.  The whole "metal" thing is way past its prime.

And it's more slippery too. Delrin rocks.
