Rental car at PDX ????

Sold my toy awhile back and would like to get some track time. Any feedback whether a rental car is allowed at a pdx event and if it is a good idea?

I personally wouldn't rent a car and then take it to the track...too much to lose IMO. But many tracks have cars there that you can rent for the day. I know out at BeaveRun they had prepped Mazda 6's you could rent. Don't know what other tracks have to offer.
