2007 SW Div Steward

I assume we're requiring only 2 to be eligible for div series trophy but counting all 4........or 3 out of 4?

I doubt I can make 4 div events with 3 national event trips this year as well. Thats 5 out of town events and 7 total off from work (there's the real problem) :)

Good effort. I'll try to make the 3 listed there above. Pearsall for sure and maybe LaGrave.

 I know it seems like a long way off, but registration is open for the Texas Region Divisional August 17th - 19th.

As for div championships, points are scored based on finish positions.  You must be an SCCA member and must compete in at least two of the three div events in the same class to qualify for a championship.

Stupid question, are there certain decals (like national tour) we have to run for the divisonal events? Never been to a one yet, just thought I would ask before I decide.

Not that I know of in the SWDIV. They're great fun. Try to make all 3. Worth the trips :)

 Hope some of you cajun boys can make the divs and maybe host one next year!

Is there an event hotel, or a hotel near the site that is recommended? This would be for the Houston Event.

The event hotel is the Fairfield Inn in Texas City but last time I checked

it was booked solid. Check the web page for the event, it should have more

hotel options listed. 

Just last week we were able to book a suite at the Best Western in the same parking lot as the host hotel.  A little more expensive than the Fairfield or Hampton but they did have rooms.

well I know Cenla has talked about it, and it would be something that might happen in the future.
