I ran ASP, Group 1 Thur/Fri and worked Group 3 ... so I wasn't able to photograph those groups. I was able to get some shots on Wed. The Link shows some Sample Shots ... plus some shots for the friends at home. Those shots have been Cropped and Processed. Later I'll post the 1,000+ other shots, that haven't been processed. Print order will be Cropped and Processed, ie. color and density corrected. (These shots are posting flat and de-saturated. Actual prints will be more colorful.) Well I did get a few shots of my ASP competitors ...

I'm uploading ... slowly ... from my hotel in AZ.
NICE Shot Boomer! Nice going away present for Navid since he's swearing he won't be back!

I think I got some of the "Sample" shots (showing how the "processed" shots look after cropping, enlarging, density and color corrected, sharpened) mixed up ... it's been a long day:
Day 2, Wed: http://public.fotki.com/makofoto/2007-solo-solo-2-au/day-1/
Day 3, Thursday: http://public.fotki.com/makofoto/2007-solo-solo-2-au/day-3-thursday-2007/
Day 4, Friday: http://public.fotki.com/makofoto/2007-solo-solo-2-au/day-4-2007-scca-sol/
As I mentioned, I ran 1st Run Group Thur/Friday ... and worked Group 3 ... so no shots from those Run Groups. Wednesday I got a smattering of different classes.

CS3 didn't do a great job of hidding the seams of this Panorama from Friday morning. Note the sets of Twins. You might have to Scroll to see the entire shot.

I uploaded about 2500 pics or so. I tried to break them up by class. Photos are free for personal use, PM me if you want a hi-res copy!

I think that's about the best autocross photo I've seen. The movement, inside rear tire up, driver looking ahead and position of the pointer cone all work to express the idea of "get real precise, real fast".

Dave is great at getting all the Middiv folks awesome shots and posting rapidly. We are VERY fortunate to have him as an enthusiastic Member of our group!
Thanks again Dave you are the man!

These are the only photos I actually took. It was total coincidence that I even had my camera on me. I hope Andy doesnt mind me posting them. I think he was quite lucky here. I took a pic specificaly so folks could tell just how close he came to the fence and the light pole. He and Ann went on to continue running the car. Apparently there was only cosmetic damage.
I live my life one cone at a time........

That link does not work for me on my Mozzilla or Internet Explorer browser, for some reason.
