Is this event still on for BOTH days? Since we cut the Columbus event short because of mothers day I was unsure since the 17th is fathers day. I need to know before I book a hotel.

There has been no talk of shortening the event to one day. We'll let everybody know if that changes (but I doubt that it will).

The forecast for the weekend is showing partly cloudy and hot. BRING SUNSCREEN.

Brian Whitmire tells me that he's got a course map drawn out. If you got to drive the first course that he designed (CAFB either late last year or early this year - can't remember) you'll want to check out his sophomore effort.

This weekend will also feature the triumphant returns of Ry and Teddy, both of whom haven't autocrossed in like six years, or at least it seems that long.

Brian, you let that old BMW beat you, what is it, like an 89 or something, man, you need to put some jet fuel in your manifold or something.  He's gonna be hard to stand for a while, until he has to face the MINI again.

I have much more respect for drew's ability to go fast on street tires after this weekend. As you may have noticed I tried the whole stu thing out and i didn't like it so much. I think drew and his car were meant for stu and those sticky yokos. Sunday I only ran three runs to save my tires and gave up halfway through my last run as I felt my tires were not worth another possible chording incident. <-----this should take nothing away from drew's driving as he drove well and I didn't.

So when is teh MINI going to make an appearance again?

Plus two as in two seconds (one cone)... I guess that nomenclature isn't right - I'm still in the "timing" mode. Looking at the video, I think it was the one on the entrance to the Chicago box near the end.
