christoc:How much track time does one get for this?
I am curious about this as well. At the PDX event last October we got 2 20minute sessions and we also had to work the event for 3 other sessions. Now that event was only $50. So I'm guessing that this event will have much more track time, but again that is only a guess.

Re: PDX Track Day May 21, 2006 in St. Louis Region at Gateway Raceway
We are shooting for 2 hours (this can be done with no incidents). This is per Chuck DeProw, Event Chairman.
No working at this one - The wonderful Diane Prokopf is setting up workers. Cesare is organizing grid for us.
We plan on rotating the groups without stopping between each one to maiximze track time. $175 for 120 minutes is a pretty good deal.

Re: PDX Track Day May 21, 2006 in St. Louis Region at Gateway Raceway
Slowdude, The classes I would presume would just be instructional. Your experience from last year will not relate to the FWD, the line changes drastically. You,ll find you will brake less than others and will cut corners completely different than the Chevelle. If you ran a timed Time Trial (Club Trial) you would be in the Solo GS class or if equipped for race a T3 or SSC class. I ran full tire pressures of 38F and 38R as per door label on car (high speed full load) run-flats are good for 3-4 PDX trials. More if you do not Solo and use daily.

Getting a good number of entries in, with a wide range of cars. Don't wait too long or you chance for cheap seat time will be gone. This is a great opportunity for people who just took the drivers school to get in the seat again and get the rush on again.
