    SOLD 91 MR2 - ES Prepped - $4k

A sale is currently pending for this car.

After much deliberation, I've decided that I'm not hard-core enough about autox to keep a dedicated car around. Thus, I'm looking to sell my MR2. I'm asking $4k for it, which I think it is a fair price.

    Here's some quick stats:
    91 MR2
    99k miles
    T-Tops
    10 stock wheels (2 full sets + 1 front + 1 rear)
Resonator/inline muffler installed in place of stock exhaust
Fatter front sway (not sure which one, car prepped by previous owner)
    Tokico Illumina dampers
    Power windows & locks
    Cruise Control
    A/C (needs charging)
    Manual Steering

    The good:
    * 14" tires are much cheaper than 15" tires on later cars. Definite plus!
    * It's well prepped, and should be competitive on fresh tires (I ran 4yo Hoosiers on it last year, and was still close to Ben and Mark).
    * Mechanically sound. The only issue I know of is a leaky A/C. The previous owner says it'll hold a charge for at least a year, but I've never personally charged it. Otherwise, it's ready to roll.
    * I still have the stock exhaust & front sway. They go with the car if the buyer wants them.
    * Stainless steel brake lines (not yet installed - I've been lazy this winter)
    * Includes a hitch for towing a tire trailer
    * Includes four 5mm wheel spacers to allow for a little extra camber with fat (205 & 225) tires.
    * Ball joints (common problem area in MR2) were replaced two years ago by previous owner at a decent shop.
    * No leaks - The t-tops hold their own even when driving in hard rain.

    The bad:
    * The paint is in fairly rough shape. I polished it up pretty well last year and it's nice and shiny. Even so, it's got a few nicks/dings (it's nearly 18 years old...). Also, the clear coat is coming off the mirrors.
    * It does leak a little oil. I think it's either the valve cover gasket or maybe valve guide seals. In any case, it drips a little after parking, and it does smoke a little on start up. The good news is that any drop in oil level is negligible, so it's never been something that concerns me.

    UPDATE: much better pics.
