    What you've got to look for in the rules is something that says subframe connectors are allowed, and nothing that says they're disallowed. I don't believe you'll find that in the Street Prepared rules (although I've been wrong once before).

    BUT, since the convertibles have bolt-in subframe connectors, you are free to use those same pieces in your car as part of Street Prepared's update/backdate rule.
