Need some opinions about what car to get next (yea i know this gets asked alot :)

Hey guys, Ive been running my 2000 Celica GT-S for 7 years, and its gone now, so im trying to figure out what I want.

I have been in STS for about 4 years and I think I want to go back to stock class,

The only thing I am going to get for the car to improve it to run the rest of this season is tires, Ill proably get shocks next year.

The car is going to be a daily driver/commuter, so I have to enjoy it on road and on course.

Cars I have been mulling over-

HS Mini Cooper (fun to drive but not even as gutsy as my Celica, and that wasnt much)(we also like to take the kids out in the sportier car sometimes, and that back seat is RIGHT next to the back of the car, where the kids would be...makes us leery in the event of a possible rear end collision) But we also realize that the Mini is still the HS monster

GS Nissan SE-R specV-There are a couple of low priced, low mileage 2006 examples at a dealer about 2 miles from me, but they look like a rental cars to me-one thing about my Celica...I loved how it looked :) I also hear that 2nd gear tops out at a low 50-something miles per hour...might make bigger courses more 3rd gear intensive (-)

DS 2005 SRT-4 ACR- Low mileage, I know the owner, its a neat, rare car in an even rarer color, gobs of power and an LSD, it already has a couple of nice perks like a harness installed by the owner, new tires (just street tires),and the factory Tokico adjustable shocks and factory camber adjustment bulletin. But Im in the dark as far as long term reliabilty of the SRT's drivetrain, and I also know its not the hottest thing in DS by far, and also it doesnt get the best gas mileage (although I am a VERY conservative driver on the street and save gas when I can)

BS RX-8 - Unsure if i can find one I can afford, and also very leery of cost to set up later on and also cost of fuel commuting in it(they gulp, not sip), but other than that I love them.

I have also heard good things about the potential of the Mazda 3 in HS, but they just dont apeal to me, maybe I need to drive one?  Again, I get rental car vibes.
