dboyles (a.k.a. GroovinPickle on BF) ran them last year with out much issues. He was running +35 offset wheels in the front which equates to the space recommended.
I think he ran them at Walnut Ridge in '06, but I could be wrong. PM him for specifics if you want to hear from someone who has experience with them on a BS M3
I heard a recent rumor that the V710 is coming in a 225/45-17 this spring as it will be the spec tire for some new road race class or something. FWIW
