The date really won't matter. The weather is hit or miss in the midwest even in November. Heck I'm about 2 hours north of Topeka and we hit 82 degrees yesterday which was a record for this late in the year. It's been great all week. Highs for Sunday are looking like 44.
I think too many were soured that we were greeted by a cold late September week. It's always going to be hit or miss in the midwest, but that's what keeps it interesting.
I think the date is fine, and I'm sure they'll be looking at an earlier Sept. date in 2008 so what's the big deal if we have to have one more late Sept solo in the 'big picture' of things?
