    I'm in.

Shawn, the NIS class is for those who can't make the event but wish to make a donation.  I expect that a significantly greater part of their "entry" will go to the charity because we don't have to pay the sanction and insurance fees for them.  And they won't be getting any of the free soft drinks or watermelon. ;)

all of the money you pay to enter the NIS class goes to the charity - it was a way to get your donation if you could not attend.  If youa re attending you can add an option to donate additonal money when you register (it is not mandatory) The club is donating $1.00 per car per regular entry)

    Bump to the top.

Please everyone who has other plans for the 4th, please enter in "NIS". This event is more than another chance at seat time.

First, it is a great way to support part of our solo "family", the Sotoropolis' family and remember Nick .

Second, the groups we are supporting have a vital role in the health and well being of cancer patients and their families.

So here's a funny question...  Turns out, my wife may give autocrossing a try on the 4th while I watch.  It would be her first time.  We'd both drive but we have a 4 year old that will be in attendance as well.  Anyway, since I'm already registered, if she does decide to go ahead and drive, how hard would it be to move my registration to NIS so I can get her registered to drive?

And also, will I be able to do the fun runs afterwards even though I will be registered as NIS?

We will make it work for you!  What ever needs to be done to get her out there to try it - we need more ladies!

We can move you to NIS easily and yes you can still take fun runs.

It has been too long since I have been to an AutoX.  It will be the (mostly) white Subaru's first motorsport event.  Looking forward to being there this weekend!

I hate that I am going to miss this event.  My absolute best autocross memory was the one and only other night solo I did with our local SCCA in 2002.  It was such a blast.

If you are on the fence about attending - just think of all the fun we had at the Year End Challenge - as I will tell you a little secret.  John and I are planning a format that might look a bit like that event and we promise a lot ot fun and smiles!  Come join us!

I will not race but would like to come with wife and kid in tow for watermelon, fireworks (and maybe getting them hooked so I can come back and autox again ;)

I assume NIS registration + provisional SCCA membership will let me in (might even attempt a fun run if Olga lets me drive *her* GTI :) )

Yes you can come and yes you can fun run as long as you have been and entrant in one of our prevsious events.  NIS entry makes a nice donation to the cause.  And even if you have not ever entered a previous event - you can still get a ride with someone - passengers can get a free weekend membership.

And we are happy to have you there with the entire family.

Has it really been since '02? Hmmmm.... nice index based challenge, James, Matt G, and myself were the top 3, cannot recall the order for P1/2.

    I drove the white Olds!
