    Finger Lakes Tour PAX/RTP Results

Attached is a PDF of the Final PAX/RTP Index Results from the Finger Lakes National Tour. I will post Saturday and Sunday Only results in the following two posts. The column "Class Pos." indicates final class position on all reports.

EDIT:  I have replaced the attached PDF at 12:05pm CST.  I fixed Andrew Weigel's Sunday Only time.

Thanks for getting these up so fast!

    Thanks, Rick.

I should add that on Saturday, heats 1 & 2 were completely dry and sunny, heat 3 had misting rain for the first two runs or so, and third runs were wet.  Heat 4 was completely wet.

The weather on Sunday was warm, dry, and sunny for all heats.

Damn rain/grid not knowing how to run 2 driver cars.  At least I jumped 140 position on PAX comparing Saturday and Sunday.  Yes

Running my first national event ever the nerves got the best of me.  Was too tentative to push the envelop and the one time I did I grabbed a cone.   Good learning experience that I can take a lot from.

That's really quite impressive.  I once tried to grab a cone as I drove by, but my arm was too short and my fingers were too weak.  You must have really long arms, and a crazy strong grip.  Congrats

The rain sure did mess with things.  Ryan was 199th on Saturday in the rain and 3rd on Sunday.

So what was with FJA? did Darren sneak in and race a Junior Kart under a diffrent name?

Or did the weather play a favoritable role in there PAX position?

I guess they could have just driven well too :)

The Junior Karts are getting faster.  A lot faster.  After last year's performance from the Montelo kids, at the Nationals, I think some kids (and their Parents) have stepped up their program.  I see more and more kids doing very well in the overall scheme.  I suspect to see a fairly big jump in the factors for both FJA and FJB next year.

Of course, some courses tend to be very "kart friendly", too.
