You can throw out the results from the 1st heat because it was just a street sweeping crew.

    Except Clemons/BM ran 1st heat.

Rick, would you say there was a higher than average DNF and/or cones hit ratio for this event?

I would say only the first runs of the first day were effected.  My 2nd and 3rd runs had about the same amount of grip.  I would say on Sunday the course was picking up more grip though.  ST also ran in the first heat and you can tell that they all did very well on PAX.

Considering corner workers were added DNFs to runs that weren't DNFs (my first run Sunday, confirmed to NOT be a DNF by my tape) I would say they might be higher.  I would like to think that was just in my case though.  Sorry, still bitter about how that day played out.

I really haven't examined the actual results very closely.  I suspected that the course might be somewhat cone intensive because of the trouble the big cars had (except Madarash) with being fast.

I believe they said (drivers meeting?) that there were only 70 something cones. Course looked like a runway down and back. Surprising with all that space. Chuck

I also think that the heat of the later day was messing with the ST tires too.  Too much heat in a street tire is a bad thing.
