I brought this up at dinner last night. The response I got from the real life accountant was, times are bad and you want to spend more money?

Obviously, I would love to buy the car and drive a competitive car, which beyond doubt in GS is yours.

Sadly she didn't warm up to the idea as much as I thought she would.

I do know she's waiting for something at work to happen and if that goes as planned, then there is hope.

Bump!  I am in San Diego working.  I will make my decision whether to keep or part out by December 9th when I return back home to KC.  So, if you want an already setup National Champion G-stock Mini Cooper S that gets 36+mpg on the interstate, well, act now......  ;-)  Or, buy one and build it for roughly $30K and hope that you set it up close to as good as mine for 10K more than my asking price. ;-)

I am leaning towards keeping it and running it for the 2009 season in G-stock at the moment if noone is interested by the 9th of December.

Nor do they know what they sell for on the open market. Craig could take his shocks off, and get a couple grand more on AutoTrader....and still have his custom DAs to sell.  He must really want it to stay in the autox community. Because I would have done that already.

I am collecting money to buy this car as an investment group. I will return it to stock and sell the go fast parts. After I will repay you your original investment plus a percentage of what is made on the sale of the car and aftermarket parts. We can return the balance to the GS force without the Sith in the class.

Seriously, I looked at trading my '07 Mini in and was offered $20K for trade on a Mini returned to stock. If you are waiting for a better deal it will not happen.

Lol, you guys are funny.  I must be nuckin futz.  Did I say $20600?  Maybe I meant $30600. bwahahahahaha

Every time I go to buy a car, I wonder why I cannot find a deal like the deals I offer.  The funny thing is, people are hesitant to purchase usually, maybe its too cheap and people are afraid of saving $10K.  I dunno?  Someone could buy this Mini and run it for 2 years, part it out, and sell it for a break even I bet.

Anyway, I think I might have a plan cookin, so, the sale of this Mini is on hold for the weekend until I figure out which way to go.  I will post an update on Monday evening.......
