    SS ProSolo Finale Seat Available

My co-driver broke his wrist in three places and won't be qualifying for the Finale by competing at Finger Lakes next week.

If any SS ProSolo qualifiers are looking to reduce costs this year and willing to jump into a great car at the Finale kindly PM me and we can discuss the opportunities.

I'll be towing out with or without a co-driver so let me know if there is any interest.

If you want an independent opinion on the car I'll put you in touch with a couple of past National Champs who have driven the car.

    See you in Topeka.

I wish it was an Elise and I'd take you up on it.

Not much seat time in a Vette.

Aren't they the same?  They're both SS cars (he says sarcasticly). Wink

Scott broke his wrist?  Hey, wait-he ran at DC.  I think the rules are you only need one this year if it doesn't fill (and it never does) with two event drivers.  And I do not believe there is a penalty for the one eventers.  In other words, he should be able to register and compete in the Finale with only one event, assuming there's space.   ?????

I believe they run in the "one eventer" class and aren't qualified for open class. IIRC

That was last year and the year before.  Check out the rules-I think they changed.

    This just in:

Single Event Participation: Competitors that have not met the full 2008 ProSolo qualifications for participation but ran one 2008 event may enter the event in the Single Event Index Class beginning on Sept 3rd up to the number of available entry slots.  Registration will only be available by fax.

They are also going to be required to work the challenge rounds and run first class of the day.

Pro seat filled.  Thanks for all the interest.
