Personally, I just think the level of talent in Street Touring is just that much better...especially compared to something like Stock or Street Prepared...Stick out tongueBeer

Then again, it could be the special Bridgestone kool-aid!

Re: Atlanta NT day 1 pax results

The driving of all the ST guys this weekend was quite impressive.  Especially Mike King.  That being said.  AMS is a low(ish) grip sealed asphalt site that ST cars should excell at.  This still does not explain how fast Carter Thompson drove on Saturday....That was truly amazing and he said he made a mistake on his flyer.

Thanks for the quick posting of the PAX Brian.  I bet Rick Ruth was happy that he did not have to worry about it this week.

    Re: Atlanta NT pax results

Some of your PAX factors have to be wrong.

I run in ASP with a total time for the event of a 88.711, while Chadwick runs a 88.735 in SM2, yet he is above me in overall PAX.

Must be an error in your math.

It does help that an ST competitor ran the PAX results....

    Nice job, Brian!

The SM2 pax wasn't in the lookup table, so it was grabbing the SM pax.  I fixed the issue and the above files are updated.  (might need to refresh the images to get them to appear correctly)

Here are theoretical Event PAX (EPAX) approximations, and the difference from the current RRTP, for the top driver in each class.

Since I do these anyway, I thought I'd go ahead and post them.  They have a bit more info than Brian's GIFs.  The combined results are attached here and the individual days will be in subsequent posts.

Pardon my ignorance-what's an EPAX?  Does that factor run order or something?  Is there voodoo involved?

Nah, it is theoretical event pax that factors what pax number would be required to make the index times from the top driver in each class equal.  The goal was just to show how far off each class was from the ideal pax, given the drivers for this event.
