    Texas National Tour

I'm curious why more people haven't entered the Texas National Tour??

Because I sold my car, won't drive other's cars and haven't finished building my next car.

    Re: Texas National Tour

Well, that explains one of the 80 to 100 additional entries I thought there would be at this point.

Where are the rest of them??

Did I mention there's going to be FREE beer, margaritas & BBQ?   How can you resist??

OK, the real reason is because I can't stand overuse of the "Glowing Edges" Photoshop filter. Big Smile

How many Texas region members are attending the Baton Rouge divisional?

    Re: Texas National Tour

I would love to go, but I hate asking for rides, and I just bought a new car. I've attended past Houston Tours and the last ProSolo held in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, so I know how much fun the Texas events can be. I just can't swing it this year. :(

How many have supported the Houston National Tour in the past?! MANY! Lets stick to questions that are relevent Jason. There is no reason for that.

    Re: Texas National Tour

Texas Region is sparing no expense on the Tour event in order to draw entries & to make sure everyone has an enjoyable Texas National Tour.

We're giving you at no additional expense, 2 parties with all the food & beverages you can drink (FREE Beer & Margaritas).  The Saturday evening food is being catered by the legendary Fort Worth, Texas BBQ restaurant called Riscky's.

The course area has been maximized & the Region is even taking the extra step of having a 4 lane street closed off to use as a grid area to keep the course area as large as possible!

To keep you out of the Texas Sun (or rain), we're having a large 30' x 40' tent brought in with tables & chairs to seat everyone.

Basically, the philosophy is to make sure you have an enjoyable event.  To be honest, the Region isn't trying to make a profit on the event.  But we would like to break even & have people leave with a positive experience.

We all know money is tight with everyone right now, so we're trying to make this Tour event worth your time & dollar!

I poked a stick at the Austin crowd and got another 5 or so to register and more on the way.

Spokes will be there in force to take a disproportionate number of trophies! Stick out tongue

I signed up for the AR ProSolo and the FW National Tour a day or so after they were open for registration.  I'll also be at all four SWDiv events in Zachary; Pearsall; Houston; and Ft. Worth.

I made the trip out to the TX tour last year, great event and a great course, but then you cant go wrong with a Roger Johnson course.  Wish I could make it again this year.
