Is Arshad the reason my camber plates have not arrived from RCE? I am starting to see a pattern.

I've been trying to get this H&R front swaybar since March, and it's still on back order...  Arshad??! Angry

Sure would hate to fill up the 825 gallon fuel tank. But it only uses 64 gallons per hour at WOT!Stick out tongue

Excellent, I don't work on Sunday, so I'll bring out the 240 and a friend.

Yea, my schedule just cleared up. I'll be there. Seems a little weird to be driving a Miata on a GM parking lot, but if its ok with them, its ok with me.

Just ignore the sign that says "No foreign cars allowed" It always confuses me that  a Chevy that came from Mexico is an American car, but a Toyota mostly amde in the U.S. is a foreign car.

I'll second that.  Bonus points to the overzealous people that say I'm somehow less of an American because I don't buy an "American" car and they're driving a car that has a foreign country of origin.

The last new Ford I bought (ZX2) was made in Mexico also. And the Aveo is made in Korea, pretty sure I read somewhere that the motors in them are made in China. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that one. We all know the Pontiac Vibe is a Toyota Matrix. I get mad every time I hear a Ford or Chevy commercial that says "Buy American". None of them have any room to talk. I better get off my soapbox now.

Maybe I could get an LS1 wedged into my Miata? Would that qualify as an "American" car?

    Exactly!

That was very cool. What a sleeper. Stock looking, including the little wheels and the fancy leather interior. But then you start it up and what a surprise. Its an 11 second Miata!

Re: Need to Autocross before the Divisional? How about Sunday, May 18th @ GM Wentzville

It was a good time and a great day this weekend for the event!  I had fun getting my first shot at a dry course this year, despite the now apparent power steering issue I have. My arms are sure sore from fighting that run after run.  At least I found it now and not at the divisional - > I would not have been happy.

Also big thanks to John and Mirna Schmid for having the Stl. SCCA crew over after the event for bar-b-que, some beer, movies, slot-car racing, and of course wrenching on Suby's and that EVO.  It was a lot of fun.  BTW - did the EVO ever get moving again?

The Evo is in need of a new clutch.  It was great to hang out with you guys after the event and another big thanks to J.D. and Mirna for having all of us over.  As far as the power steering issue, I am purchasing two bottles of Redline Synthetic Power Steering fluid from SPS ( Soloperformance.com ).  Once I switch to synthetic, it should help with those problems ( we will take back what is rightfully ours, John ).  I'll let you know how to do it , as soon as Elterman enlightens me.

BIIIGGGGG thanks to Shane for noticing/helping me with the sway-bar. Not only did he save me a lot of grief in the future, he also helped eliminate that noise that I have been hearing for a while.

Thats funny, I've just exchanged a few e-mails about that same thing.  Just sent Andy and James an e-mail about how to change the fluid.  I have an idea, but haven't really looked around in there yet.  Do we need the PS or ATF fluid?  My arms are sore.

I'm going to protest that you've got some illegally lightened parts back there with the chunks of metal it was taking out  Surprise
