I've been autocross running in the NS class since Janurary and want to get my car classed. I put my car in FM but, after pouring over the rulebook, I'm not sure that's acurate. Before I continue driving in FM I want to make sure I'm in the right class so I don't get DSQ'd in the future should a conflict come up from another driver. I'm not out to cheat anybody or anything so help me out please.
Here's the beast and it's specs:
1997 Honda Civic DX Hatchback
stock 1.6L SOHC engine, intake manifold and TB
AEM CA intake system
aftermarket header and exhaust system with both O2 sensors, cat delete
15 x 7 rims, 205-50-15 street tires
Eibach springs and struts, Energy Suspension polyurathane bushing master kit
rear seats, rear belts, spare tire, cover and jack all removed
Thats the meat and potatoes but the three that concern me most is the 1.6L displacement, lack of a real cat conv and the lack of rear seats. I want to develop the car to its full potential for the class it is in, as soon as I figure out what class that is exactly. Also if I put the rear seats back in and keep it catless would that be enough to put me in a different class? (I have no intention of getting a cat put on as it would mean rebuilding the entire exhaust $y$tem to accomodate one)
Thanks in advance for your help.
