I saw a post on another region's forum and thought that this would make a good discussion topic for our region as well, being that we have a lot of newer/novice drivers attending events this year.

That being said, what are some of your personal goals, both short term and long term, that you would like to accomplish during the 2008 season?

Personally, my goals are (in no particular order) the following:

(1) To finally beat that little gay car (*cough* Brian *cough*), not only in pax, but in RAW time too...

(2) To win either a National Tour or ProSolo event

(3) To trophy at the Solo National Championships in Topeka

(4) Become a solo safety steward (SSS) for our region

What about everyone else?

I am hoping for another trophy in Street Tire class this year.  Photography wise I need to work on a faster workflow for a better turnaround and some more different compositition pictures for you guys.  I am sure this will get better as the year goes on.

(1) To never let Frankenberry beat me. Ever.

(2) To win SS at Nats. I can dream can't I?

While we're dreaming:

(1) Get a competitive car

(2) Use said car to win something

(3) Finally learn how to "drive like you got a pair"

finally contest an entire autoX season in my own car...oh, what's that? the 2008 season? nevermind....

1.) Get the car running by June.

2.) Find a willing co-driver with a flexible schedule and a trailer that the car can actually get up on who can help with gas money and knows how to drive a car without ABS...asking too much?

3.) Try to schedule at least 2 or 3 shake-down events somewhere in the SE...whatever I can make jive with my hectic work schedule.

4.) Try not to embarrass myself at Nationals in a car that has almost no development time.

1) Participate in an autox event.

I've still got a few events, I just might make it.

1)To compete at all the Mississippi Region events and the Tristate Challenge.

2)To learn as much as possible about autocross in my first year of racing. 

3)Build the bmw so it is a competitive DSP car.

4)Trophy in street tire.

2) Make the BMW (my BMW) competitive

3) Get one of those damn trophies 

Goals:

1) to place first in an event in open tire with the use of street tires. 

2) actually obtain new wheels so I can get a nice set of r comps.

3) be the first s2000 to win A stock at nationals with stock suspension.

Goals 

1) Beat Trey!!  Ap1s are better lol...

2) Buy a dang adj. front sway bar

3) Prepare for my June road course event

4) Get a set of wheels and A6 Hoosiers

5) Get a hitch and trailer to tow those new tires and wheels

6) Learn better racing lines 

7) Have fun and make new friends

2000 FC20 S2000 - Currently daily/solo car

Have fun with my car. 

Learn how to setup my suspension.

Get a trophy.

And yet again, have fun!  

1) Attend races during the school year.

2) Get the car back into racing condition. (putting a new engine in during May)

3) Attend a racing school. (Arkansas has one in late May) 

4) Build the 200sx up to be regionally competitive in the STS class. 

5)  Place in open tire.

It's been almost a year since I last raced and I cant wait to get the car back into racing condition.  I'm planing on doing the school/race in Little Rock, the two races here in Mississippi over the summer, two races in Memphis over the summer, and a race in Alabama over the summer.  Then race all of the tri-state and as many Mississippi events as I can next school year. Been doing AutoX for 3 years and just now getting to go to a school, cant wait!

 oh and put some sticky fatties on those new 15x9's I got coming.  maybe add lighness, and some aero.

And in the process pull off a dual region CSP championship for GCR and Delta and hopefully Delta driver of the year award too.
