I understand budget crunches; I had some very upset roommates when our electric got turned off the same day my Spec suspension came, lol. 
Economic stimulus is coming soon and you will be happy to know that Datatoys componets are sourced only from American friendly countries and use many american made components (It seriously took a lot effort to do this; but its really important to us).
We do have some older demo systems that use different cabling and connectors. PM me if you are interested. If not will be around all season!
