theBrick714:is the work order for the weekend posted yet? and I would also like to know if I can come out early sunday to take care of registration and tech?
The run/work order will be posted sometime tomorrow.
There are an extremely limited amount of Sunday registration and tech appointments available for those with extreme reasons why they can't swing by on Saturday night sometime in the 6-8 hours we are open. (Plus free pizza and beer) I try to save those spots for out of towners with hardship issues, but will address it on a case by case basis. Contact me offline at dave@wcsllc.net
The regular event Annual Tech is not valid for this event. You will need to come through again, mostly to check for required stickers.

I'm hoping to save a trip to GIR with trailer in tow... does tech need to see my tires, or can I just show up Saturday with the required stickers? Or, if I must schlep the trailer out there Saturday, can I leave it at GIR overnight?

Simon says: "Yes, you may leave your trailer at the site Sat. night"
In fact you can mount your tires and leave the car Sat. night (and Sun. if you desire) and get a ride home

Hi, Jan! Just to tidy up the thread... Is it required that tires be inspected if the entrant has an Annual Tech sticker? Thanks!

What do you mean by "required stickers"?

Each competitor is required to display an R&S Racing and an SPS sticker on both sides of the car. Stickers are available from the SPS trailer for no charge. If you want precut magnets or reuable vinyl backing, they are $2 each.

rtp.rick:
Is the "National" Solo sticker required? I wasn't sure with regard to a "Divisional" event. I would think it is, but not sure.
Thanks, Rick Ruth
The National Solo sticker is NOT required for Divisional competition. Midiv also does NOT require the SCCA wire wheel one. The SPS and R&S are the only two at this time. Note for competitors going to other events: As soon as the MAE stickers are done, they will also be required (but also free)

I have possibly a silly question...
"Sunday
after competition a Happy Hour will be held on the North Side of the
facility under the grandstand seats that face North site for all
entrants and their guests. There will be refreshments and snacks and
lots of bench racing."
What's bench racing?
Edit: I think I figured it out. Basically it's nothing more than BSing about which car is better.

Ooops, that is a typo. The Sunday night stuff is in the media center on the infield.
Bench Racing is standing around talking *** about Arshad.

That is a typo. You run 3rd heat, work 1st.
I fixed it on the official webpage. It will be screwed up on the registration handout becuase I already made the copies. :(

For tech, do the tires/wheels that are used for the event need to be mounted on the car or can they just be brought along without mounting them? I have to drive the car to GIR and I'd rather not drive with the R-compounds.
