Req'd Education: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering is a minimum, masters degree a plus.
Req'd Experience: 5-10 years of automotive electronics design or related experience required.
Req'd Travel: 2-5 days a year but could be as much as 15 days if developing a product requires multiple visits to racetrack.
Relocation Covered: Negotiable but shouldn’t exceed $2500

Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Design (new position)
Company description: MSD Ignition is a leader in the automotive aftermarket specializing in ignitions for all forms of racing and street driven cars and trucks. MSD Ignition is a portfolio company of Value Act.
Overview: This position is a leadership position in the research and development portion of the company. Within R&D, this position falls with new product development.
Responsibilities will include: taking ideas from marketing, doing research, creating designs and prototypes, testing, specifying of BOMs and working with manufacturing on developing methods for mass production.
REQUIREMENTS
Develop new products according to Sales and Marketing predictions
