Registration is open as of today for the Spokes/LSR Divisional on June 6th-9th at TVTC in Pearsall, TX.  Everything you need to know, including hotel info, is on the event website:

C'mon folks, only 32 registered so far!  This is going to be a great event on a very large, very flat asphalt pad with no lightpoles.  The hotel is only two miles down the road this year, it's brand new, and we have nearly the entire thing booked out to autocrossers for the weekend.  Does that sound like a party, or what?!  All the details are at the link in my previous message.  So go register already!

Alright, I know you all were just waiting to get through the Tour before registering for the next divisional in the 2008 SOWDIV Divisional Championship Series!  Did you misplace the link to register?  Here it is:

Hey everyone

2008 has started with a bang, 101 entries for the first event!!!!  Let's see if we can increase our entries for event 2!  Register now as Spokes needs some idea of how many are coming to compete!!!

Remember, this is the first year of the "Come and get it trophy"  You can't take it unless you compete.  Also, as part of the Tirerack Divisional Championship Series, you are part of the Southwest Div team at the Natl Championships!!  To be on the team, you must participate at a divisional and the more we get the better our chances!!!!

Come out and see SuperStock, AStock, STU and STX battle it out!  We should charge admission to watch these guys!!!

Thanks to you and all the host staff for a really fun event - and especially for the dry weather this year.  The courses were (with the exception of the Sunday finish - ugh!) a real blast, the food was good and the event ran pretty smoothly.  I especially liked the extra timers that provided split times, so I could see not only how bad I drove but also where I was worst :).

I was wondering, however, if anyone else had a problem with ants at the Best Western.  Woke up Sunday to discover the bed was full of them, and I was covered with ant bites (must have had fun Saturday nite, slept through it all).  I'm going to write a letter of complaint but would like to know if anyone else had the problem, or just me.

i heard many others with hotel problems. I think I'll stay in lyttle at that days inn we were at last time. that pool we stayed in till like midnight every night :)

and had no leaking A/Cs no ants or other bugs............

but the event was awesome :)
