Milw region SCCA Solo drivers school info

The Milwaukee region website has info on the April 19th Solo/Autocross drivers school at Miller Park.  Please pass the word.  A prior SCCA membership is NOT required.

    Thanks,

Will there be any kind of Test and Tune offered to SCCA members in the morning?  It'd be nice to get some seat time before Pops flogs me on Sunday.

It's going to an interesting season...

Instructors will get a "warm up" period during the classroom portion in the morning.  Wanna instruct?

The AM warm-up is also restricted to only those that instruct AND were there to help set-up the courses and timing. I belive last year most arrived at 8:00am and were running before 9:00am.

In other words, Tim (complaining about the long drive from Kohler), should not expect to show up at 10:00am and run!

J/K Tim, I know you'll be in Costa Rica at that time Stick out tongue

This early morning crap is going to kill me.  I'm enjoying not waking up until 10 on a daily basis.

How many you got in the class already?  I'm new to this, and I sent my registration by mail a few days ago.  What can I expect to learn in school that I can start using on my way home?

Depends on what you drive and what your skill set is to start with.

    1. It will give you a better idea of where the corners of your car are.

    2. It will give you an idea of where the limit of the car + tires is (or atleast your ability + car + tires Wink)

    3. It will show you how to look ahead while driving which can improve accident avoidence.

    4. Improve car control.

    5. Give you a legal outlet for some agressive driving.

    6. Definete fun and adrenaline rush.

See you there and learn a lot in the classroom and we'll show you how to harness it on the course!  Party!!!
