I looked on the internet and couldn't find any wide wheels with a good offset for your car. It looks like something custom like Jason Uyeda's wheels are going to be the only option.

How disgusting.  Drew, that stuff is obscene.  All the lenses and film, and other camera paraphernalia and stuff.  I've never seen such filth.

I will be there ready to get educated...bright and early too...May i also suggest bringing your own chairs cause from last years pics, there was no provided seating. Man i cant wait till tomorrow morning.. My belly is achin for speeeeeed.

Yes, bring chairs.  Those buckets aren't too comfortable after 20 minutes.

 

Chris and I have almost re-assembled the Cobra... I look forward to drifting driving around those cones again.

 

Unfortunately, the missus (Bonnie) will not be attending this year.  She wanted to, but she has work to do this weekend.

I hope we are able to use the other gate to get into the airport. Im sure that little gravel road will be nice and swampy for this weekend.

Skip and I talked about the site entrance. We're going to use the regular (gravel road) entrance unless it's out of commission (he'll check in the morning).

Basically, just follow the cones and it'll get you there.

Well, the weather has changed my plans.  My mother's neighborhood in north Jackson got hit by a either a tornado or very strong straight-line winds this afternoon, and she has some minor damage to her house.  Nothing too bad and nobody got hurt, thankfully.  The neighbors weren't so lucky.  The houses across the street and next door all have major damage from falling trees.  Anyway, I need to stay here tomorrow morning and help her clean up and assess things.  I'll try to get up there Sunday if I can.  Sorry to leave you guys shorthanded on instructors for the school.

Glad you made it today, Craig.  Sorry to hear about your mother, but glad it wasn't worse.

 

I want to thank everyone that helped the FSAE team today. We had some troubles with our ECU fuel map, and were not able to get the car running well enough to make a complete lap.  I really enjoyed the school, and hopefully learned how to "not suck".  It was really nice getting to talk to everyone and hopefully get some good PR for the Formula team.  We leave for VIR in 2 weeks(!). 

Update on the pictures

 

A lot of pictures were taken by Phuong (Phil) and me today.  I think the ratio was 1:3 of good pictures (mostly due to Phuong being a noob and my aching neck and wrist).  I should have majority of the pictures done by the weekend.  When they are up and if you want a higher resolution photo as a background, shoot me a message or email me at haison.cao@us.army.mil.  Also if you want the originals, shoot me a message or email also.  Those might take a little longer since I have to sort them out.  I'll be back on the coast Tuesday and will get working on them.

Yeah Haison, i can imagine that.. How much did that camara weigh again 10 pounds or something. 

 Thanks to everyone for puttin on a hell of an event.. The school has taught me a lot.  I do really feel i have improved in many aspects.  See yall at the AirBase...

So, I was checking out the data aq from sunday. It isn't very apparent which run is which. I think I can tell which one is Lance's run though;)
