    Cold ---- I'll bet!!!!

Was breaking down the trans. out of the orange GT6 this afternoon in the "a little bit heated shop" -----

watching the football playoff's, thinking how cold it is in NE and GB ------.

Then got to remembering the "sno'ball derby" series - late models at Pensacola, Mobile and Gonzalas in Dec./Jan. ---, I'm sure we thought we were cold ----- except whoever won the toss to drive --- who was sitting over two 180 headers/heaters at about 1350 degrees -------.

Track Days at NPR the first weekend of Feb. and Mar. -----.

Of course it has issues; it is a LOTUS after all...(although I might just be a little jealous because I can't physically drive it?!?)

I haven't looked at a calendar that closely, but i will need to run at least one event somewhere to get some practice on the new car setup before the Dixie Tour event that last weekend in February...I was either going to run an event in Memphis or go to the Test & Tune in Birmingham on February 10th...I have a lot of work going into the Mustang in the next two weeks, namely Koni Adj's w/ adj. OEM Bolts up front, Hawk HP plus pads, Royal Purple Fluid in the Tranny and Rear, and possibly a front sway bar depending on how the car handles once i get a little bit of seat time in it....Then it will be ready to go as far as preparation for the '08 Tour...I just need to find the time to get all the labor done lol...

I am a little disappointed though to see that only THREE names so far from the Mississippi Region have signed up for the Dixie Tour event...I know of one another person who will be signing up tonight to make FOUR becuase I am letting him co-drive the Mustang for the event, but I was hoping to see more than just us going to the event. It would be nice to get a fairly large showing from the Mississippi Region at the event...

    Re: Is it March yet?

PROJECT X, my 2008 autocross car is officially in Mississippi as of 10:00 Monday night.  Although still on the trailer.  I'll unload, etc. in the a.m.  Not sure if it will be ready for Cecil GA, though, but will really try.  Definitely ready by MARCH!!!!!!!

Only one real decision left now that I have bought the car and decided on the Set-up.

    Street Tire or Open Tire?

Maybe I will run half of our events in street and the other half in Open!!!!  That way I could come in second or third for the season in TWO categories!!!!  Has anyone ever trophied in both?

can you still trophy if you never beat me, drew, or rotenberry in ot? i mean, how deep do the trophies go and would you really want a 4th or 5th place trophy? just think if kevin really gets his r-comps! hahahaha!!!!!

ah yes, the trash talking in the offseason is great isn't it?

    Re: Is it March yet?

I was kind of kidding about running both, but since you brought up NEVER beating you or Drew:

I beat Drew 2 out of 3 times we ran together in Open tire in 2006.  A couple more in 2005 if memory is correct.

In 2007 I was within 2 seconds of either you or Drew at 3 out of 4 events with me on street tires. So I'm not planning on winning, but a trophy ain't out of the question!

And as for Kevin on R tires, unless he changes cars he is still in GS with the big PAX change.  And for the record I will NOT be in GS!!!!!

    PS

Who in town can bore my MR2 engine and install the new pistons for a reasonable price? Now that the crank is balanced I am ready to reassemble.

Dirt beat the Trans Am in his Charger at the end of the movie I think.  Anyway, "Why don't you go practice falling down, and I'll be there in a minute".  Joe.
